But ye I used too dark colors and post was too pessimistic. Obviously I talked about negative side only. Positive is that skateboarding pc game market is now occupied by Shaun White Skateboarding only, which means that possible release of 1st skateboarding game with modern grafics will be a boom. Also according to common knowledge, xbox360 and pc are 20% different, so probably a port without adding any special content won't cost a lot. Piracy side - the possible resolve is too obvious, since game won't come in a jewel case - steam.

bad idea, this is another minus to online petitions, their results can't be trusted...

Edit: and you really should raise the bar of max signers. There are 1,2k likes on thpshd facebook page. There are almost 300k views of thpshd teaser on youtube.

Most of you probably already knew this but TIL that THPS2X for Xbox also contained all the levels from THPS1.

"Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2X was released on November 14, 2001 (only in the U.S. and Canada) as a launch title for Microsoft's Xbox. The game contained remade versions of all the levels from the first two games in the Tony Hawk series, five new levels, a 4-player split screen and LAN multi-player feature and the ability to create females in Create-a-skater mode. Other new features include a redesigned main page and grind balance meter. The redesigned Philadelphia level from this version would later be reused in Tony Hawk's Underground 2."

Seems there actually went quite a bit of work in this port. Too bad it was just on Xbox.
Knowing this it's actually a bit disappointing that THPSHD won't have all the levels from the previous two games. I know they'll be in HD but that was of secondary importance to me next to the actual combination of the levels in one game.

Later we can ask to release a pc port of thps2x as is w/o any changes Xd even 10 years later still will be bought by game series fans, don't you think so.

Reason why thpshd won't include all maps is cause they modelling 'em from scratch actually, compare original warehouse and one in teaser, they use only shape. And you must consider that 2x maps are not HD at all nowadays (though they are better than in thps)
