How do I get online working properly with THPS3?
First off, make a clean install of the game. Then install patch 1.01.

Install a NoCd if wanted, I won't link as it's sketchy but you can find thousands with google, just make sure you have 1.01 version of it.
To host:Now this is a little bit more complicated, but two things:If you have a router, Ports 5150-5151 & 6500 need to be open or forwarded for both TCP and UDP. Unfortunately I can't help you more there as every router config is different. To get on the config page though, for most you will have to type in your ip. If you have a firewall, THPS3/Gamespy need to be allowed through. It's possible that you can still join even if it's not, so make sure it is. If your servers still aren't showing, double check the firewall, turn it off and try to host again. Turn off windows firewall as well.

How do I get online with THUG?
Download http://globalskaters.net/mods/THUG/THUGOnline.zip and run the game through that. It should work out of the box, but take note rarely anyone is online on the PC version. Download http://globalskaters.net/mods/THUG/THUG1%20PC%20Host%20Crack.zip To maximize your chances of hosting successfully. Host, then run the crack, click crack until there isn't anything appearing anymore.
How do I get online with THUG2?
Assuming you don't have the newest 3-click installer that Design released,
download http://globalskaters.net/mods/THUG2/THEMOD%201.3.zip as not only does it fix online, it also fixes the foggy bug with vista & 7, and adds some functionality like observe without leaving the server, etc. Go to online play, click ready, in the internet options screen wait until the screen freezes, press enter once, then press down arrow once, enter and you'll be in the lobby.
If you get problems with Connection Refused when joining servers, use http://globalskaters.net/mods/THUG2/Connfix.zip. This should fix 95% of the issues, just keep cycling keys until it works.
