I'm running 1.1, would someone running another version cause me to crash? Actually the program doesn't crash, it just closes out for no reason.

if you only have 1.1 and join a server thats playing a new map you will crash or if you play with somone that has 1.3 and he use one of the anims that you don't have loaded to fix this just dl LevelMod and you can join the new levels and also there are all new anims loaded so you won't crash if somone with 1.3 use the new anims

here's the explanation for those mystery numbers.

1.00 - release version of skate3.exe, pretty rare today
1.01 - official thps3 patch, that everyone should have.

exe version is always shown in the botom left corner of the main menu.

1.2 is ksk8er's mod, 1st version
1.3 is ksk8er's mod, 2nd version, most common
levelout 2.9 - extension for 1.3 by coolsnake

these mods only change scripts, but exe version remains same. it may crash clean game, but host with levelmod may serve clients with 1.3 safely.

if it crashes in london, then it's probably caused by older levelmod version, i assume that you use 4.1 atm, which can be easily checked in bottom right corner of your main menu.

rest is caused by actual thps3 code, cause pc port is pretty bugged. sometimes i crash right after i click join host button, sometimes when i change to cruise ship level.

Thanks for the detailed reply Demo. To be clear, I'm looking at the Level Out 2.9 thread on ThMods.com. Thinking about installing this (to make the game play more like THPS4 as well as for stability reasons). But is it safe to install over LevelMod? Or do I need to do a clean install of the game, install ksk 1.3, LO 2.9, then LM again in that order? Also, do I need to install ksk 1.2 before 1.3?

think twice before installing 1.3, cause its incompatible with levelmod. the more mods you have, the higher your chances to crash. also levelout brings up over 30 new tricks, so now you will crash someone, if you'll use it Tongue
