Ok, first off, I hope that this topic is created in the right forum (players).
So, I was playing some THPS3 today and when the server quit, I got back to lobby.
This is (of course) not the first time I see this, but I never asked this to myself until now, so:
Why do some people have White names and others do have Grey names?
I know this question seems a little weird but I really want to know about it
Also, is the players ping the ping to the GS-server or the general ping to the next "big"-server provider?

Well the grey names represent the people that are hosting/ trying to host without ports. White are the people that are either in the lobby or in some1s game

i'd better ask why some ppl stuck there in online list for years?
ping is sure to the player's host, else everyone's ping would be same.
