This might be a stupid question, but he probably was just curious. At the same time tho, the majority of the games at the time, and even today have been written in C++. So in conclusion, there really was no need to ask it. Just admit that the majority of the PC games are written in C++.

No way! If the game was made in Java, just like Minecraft (which is 4 nabs 0nly), then you woulda needed the Java runtime in order to run it.
