Boneless/BeanPlant CAS

These are CAS files that allow you to use Boneless/Beanplant instead of Fastplant.

Place the CAS files in your settings/cas folder.
BonelessCAS allows you to Boneless instead of Fastplant.
BeanPlantCAs allows you to Beanplant instead of Fastplant.


If you want to manually edit a CAS of your own, make sure you BACKUP your cas first.
Open it in a hex editor, search for the hexcode for the fastplant ( "CDB16751" ) and replace it with one of the following hex codes:

Fastplant: CDB16751
Boneless : 37E2E081
Beanplant: 2142CDDA

That's it, you're done.
Make sure to NOT rename your cas file or the game won't load them. You can rename them without a problem ingame though.

I can't for the life of me tell the difference between the different animations. Even to the point that I thought that the animations in the anims folder were just copy & pasted from eachother but apparently they aren't.

difference is minor, can't tell the names, but:

one - back foot on board, grab front side of deck with hand (boneless obviously)
2nd - front foot on board, grab front side of deck with hand (maybe beanplant)
3rd - front foot on board, no hands used (maybe fastplant)

actionly can't remember they clearly, but there are differences that apparently can notice only skater also in thps4 there are vallely boneless which is boneless with 360 degrees rotation

I found something... interesting 0.o

I found it very odd that I couldn't tell the difference between the different animations. Turns out that ALL the tricks pointed to the boneless function in groundtricks.qb

This was the case for groundtricks.qb in ksk's mod + the original script from the THPS3 client :shock: I also downloaded the backup scripts folder from thps-mods.com and yup the same result.

Could someone confirm this on his game? The trick animation should stay the same, regardless of what it displays as trick name.

It's easily fixed by pointing the tricks to their proper functions though.

lol nice found dude. i confirm, boneless anim was used for all three tricks and now it's fixed. never thought things like this may be broken in th3. i think i used lfc trick mod once, that's why i was sure it's ok. now you brought sense back into it, include this fix in levelout mod.

boneless - any default cas
fastplant - tony hawk
beanplant - private carrera
