Snipe's PS2 Server Down?

A friend and I were wanting to meet on THPS4 PS2 but neither of us could connect. I got a failed to connect message, was presented with the "play online" menu, and the game hangs on "Connecting to Gamespy." I have to reset my PS2 at this point. The Debian server responds when connecting using a web browser but it has locked up or something.

Anyone know what's up? He lives in Sweden and it's midnight for them now, he says the server doesn't like to work at night. Does the server go down periodically?

The server has a couple of bugs. Snipe does not maintain the server and CHC has basically handed the duties over to someone else.

You should see improvement in the server's up-time soon.
It is up right now. Feel free to email me if you want someone else on thps4 (preferably fri-sun?).

We just have access to bringing it back online. It still has it's bugs but shouldn't be down as much.
