Some of you may know, other don't, post-ussr countries celebrate Victory Day on May 9 and it is related to the victory of the allied forces in WW2. In Russia in this day they organize military parade in memory of fallen soldiers.

Are there any WW2 related dates in your state guys or it only remains in History Channel movies?

well in germany we got the "Tag der Deutschen Einheit (aka german unity day)", "celebrated" on 3rd october.
