all these youtube to mp3 are shit, crap quality songs, you just look in comments or on youtube music box thingy and check artist and dl a torrent of the album, which is what I do. Google chrome is crap, check out Aurora beta, its really good!

well, Grooveshark is a great music streaming website (the best imo), but for last.fm user, you can't scrobble :/
I used Spotify a lot, but now their policy is rly crap. You must be connected with your facebook account, and you have to allow them to share your information. (I ve read the contract). I don't like it.

Now for music, I am back to the oldschool way : mp3 songs on my PC (over than 100 Go). And that's enough for me (sometimes I dl/buy some new things - more dl than buy Tongue

) I use Windows media player :lol:

So far havnt noticed much difference only in number of version and not many supported plugins as of yet. But for plugins get, GlassMyFox, SmoothWheel, DownThemAll. Instead of photoshop try out Paint.NET. It's much lighter then other other softwares.

Instead of uTorrent you should use Vuze aka Azureus... my dl speed has increased by like 200kb/s with it. you should try it

I think it's a own preference, nothing can really make your internet faster, maybe it had more seeds, I used to use Vuze until it turned into Vuzebook. Now I use BitTorrent. But there's others like Vuze, BitTorrent & uTorrent. Even FrostWire works for torrents lol.

Video2mp3.net is an online converter for youtube etc.
It has plugins for most browsers. This is what I use if I just want one song, or if I can't find any torrents of it.

Plugin will look like this: see attachment / note my youtube is dutch

But I guess everyone uses what he likes to use so it's pretty hard to say what programs you will need
