well, yea th3 community is dyeing not only because you left, but because many good old players left last year. Most of clans including old players are dead or almost dead.
There are maybe 2/3 active oldschoolers (mainly fatih and rev) but this is the end of a generation. Hopefully, some new players are still playing th3, that's nice! but as far as Iam concerned, I have almost no motivation playing th3 since a few months. Maybe a good tournament would help.. again, this will be full of good new players but I miss my oldschool friends (lyst, shin, plum, bC, MK0, wtK teams and the others..) |

So I'm dead?
I only ever quitted thps3 for few days in 2005, this is just me being inactive. My work is taking most of my free time and I have other commitments after work too. I played last week from time to time, but I haven't seen anyone I know. I have some ideas about thsp3 olympics and paralymics, so stay tuned The size of four children, eh? I'm sorry I wrote you such a long post. I didn't have time to write a short one. |

my meanig ist that is that the allure is over. You always wanted to be better then some other players. But with the age you have other intresstings and when you play th3, its not anymore the same feeling as when you play it 4 years ago. If you join th3, you have no aims anymore, that you can reach. In my beginnigs in th3, my aim was 1. to be cool 2. find some game friends 3. have some nice matches. 4 beat them who was better then me... I accept the most of that. Few years later i only wanted to have some rly nice ctf games 2 vs 2. Was nice a time long. But after a while you only had some random enemys and the game fun was lost. th3 never dead but i think our generation is over
sry for my bad english but i think you know what i mean with this post |

I think ppl are stuck in their development as th3 player. not everyone is equally good tho. but they just cant improv anymore. due to own limitations.

haha, you too wild! you can meet limitations which are the physics of the game.
I was talking about that with giel yesterday, he also checks if ppl are online and then if no ones there he leaves. I noticed if you just host for 10 mins ppl will join. If everyone just checks if ppl are online the chance of meeting will only be smaller. I usually just improv for 10 mins then if no ones comes im off also |

I'm about to end my contract today, I already downloaded all the files to my computer, currently exporting the databases. I expect it to be up until the end of the contract which is May 29th 2014, but just to be sure I'm putting everything into safety right now. I will eventually pass the data to Krad. So if the site goes offline in the couple of days, it is because I ended my contract (I have to do this 2 months in advance so..)
Yes, but why is the rum gone? |
