It always has been dying, but it revives itself from time to time. When I left THPS3 about 5 years ago it was dying, now when I came back there it seemed a little more active and I noticed on the forum that a lot of other player were active in my gap.
Now I see it is dying again noticeably since last month, I've actually been sold to Thurpro a bit. To be honest it's not so bad, you can still turn off caveman/buttslaps/boostplants so you feel more at home.

the dying comes with waves yeah. summer holiday and christmas is active. last month school and work started for many so less active.
