I think people just need a "casual" group of rooms/players because otherwise you're stuck with noobs hosting ghost servers or password protected "pro" games. Nice to see people come in droves just to hang out, noob or pro. That's really what I play these games online for, just to have fun.

at some point you will realize that nearly 70% of newcomers can be divided in 2 groups, proskaters and jajaguys (juanpablos, you know). 1st group will launch this game like 2-3 times and forget about it. the 2nd group usually lacks even basic english, which means that conversation willl much probably end up in "rio, aeropuerto, trik, por favor".

also, here's the visitors map of my site. i guess it may give an idea about th3 players time zones.

usually i host for 8, no pw, levelmod map and have 3-5 known players plus 2-3 random guys which have chance to introduce themselves to others and keep playing with. levelmod is some kind of filter to me, cause i know proskaters never have it and only truly addiced jajaguys have it Tongue
