I believe I tried that because I mistook that screen for the port forwarding screen, I may try that again later. By the way I'm on THPS3 PS2 right now and THAT is showing up on THPS.US, weird. Do you have THPS3 or 4 for PS2 to test with Demo?

Tried PC version again with ports forwarded on virtual server (both public and private addresses as well as ports) and same result. By looking at THPS.US port 6500 is used for hosting actual rooms, so I'm guessing 5150 and 5151 are used for the rest? I don't understand how I can have a "partial" connection, and still see other players and rooms in the process.
I did notice something interesting though. I did a port test using the same website (http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/) for the IP address of someone overseas who was hosting a room. The test failed! That means that either these websites aren't accurate or there's a communication problem because they're overseas. I'd like to try this with an American host to be sure once one comes online. Then that means either there are issues with the OpenSpy server or something is wrong on my end. Any thoughts? Have you got the 1.01 patch (bottom corner in main menu)?
Is hamachi running? This often blocks online play. Are you forwarding the ports to your local PC IP address? Most likely a 192.xxx address and not the gateway address. Have you got any firewall blocking THPS3? When I went online for the first time, the firewall asked me to allow skate3.exe. Can you join servers? Yes, but why is the rum gone? |

When the game was installed it showed up as 1.01, so no patch needed. Forwarding ports for both my public and private IPs. Windows firewall off (I mentioned all this before).

I did try that, but I think it was before I forwarded everything. As far as I know I can view some servers (not all) but there doesn't appear to be a "join" button or anything.

How do you know you cannot see all servers? There aren't that much servers online, like only 2-6 and if you're online at US times it might even be none at all. And if you're counting the people in grey in the playerlist, some of them did not forward any ports, so their server will simply not show. And you can join a server by clicking on the server and then hit the upperleft button.
Yes, but why is the rum gone? |

By comparing what I see in-game with what I see on THPS.US. Often I will only see one or two rooms when more appear on the site. Still odd how my rooms don't show up though. Why would others not forward their ports?

Ok do we actually have any US players? Joined a game, nobody speaks English. Was kicked for no reason, nothing but trolls.
Edit: Nevermind, they just wanted a 2 player game lol. Trying to find my way with some Polish players, they seem to speak a little English.
